JSIS PTSA April General meeting update

During a remote meeting held on April 22, the JSIS PTSA Board and PTSA members approved a budget <https://jsisptsa.ptoffice.com/budget-review-2020/> for the 2020-2021 school year. Additionally, Nicolle Miller was elected co-Treasurer and Travis Jo Cufley was elected Secretary for the 2020-2021 Board. Two more candidates, José Antonio Lucero and Vivian Song Maritz expect to fill the vice-president and co-president roles; they will be appointed by the Board in June and their posts will be put forward for ratification at the Fall General Meeting. Thank you to all for your interest in serving the JSIS community! The PTSA also approved a change to our standing rules; the mission of the JSIS PTSA has been updated to:

“JSIS supports the global purposes of the WSPTSA: To work for the health, welfare, safety, education, care, and protection of children in the home, school, community, and place of worship. JSIS PTSA serves the JSIS community and when possible supports the SPS DLI program, and the greater community where our students learn, play, and grow”
